ËÄÉ«AV

At ËÄÉ«AV University, we are proud to be your choice for a College of Nursing. Offering graduate and undergraduate programs for students seeking careers in the healthcare profession, we are committed to providing a first-class education in a way that allows our students to study full-time and learn while they earn. We are pleased to have students from all over the nation and the world seek nursing degrees at our university.

The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program is designed to prepare students for entry-level registered nurse positions in a variety of healthcare environments. Graduates will use critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving, decision-making, and independent judgment to provide culturally competent and developmentally appropriate care in the practice of nursing and to function as a member of a healthcare team.

Upon successful completion of the curriculum, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX to become registered nurses.  The graduate must apply to and meet the requirements of the appropriate state board of nursing for licensure as a registered nurse, which includes successful completion of the NCLEX-RN.

ËÄÉ«AV’s 36-month, full-time, online Doctor of Nursing Practice—Family Nurse Practitioner (DNPFNP) program is designed for nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree who wish to achieve the highest level of nursing practice and prepare for the national call to elevate the academic preparation of nurses to the doctoral level. The DNPFNP enables graduates to practice as Family Nurse Practitioners, lead in Administrative roles within healthcare systems, teach in academia, conduct and translate evidence-based research, improve safety and quality, and advocate on behalf of their patients.

Approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, ËÄÉ«AV University’s innovative 36-month, full-time, year-round hybrid-online (in-person & online) Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia (DNPNA) is designed for nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or other appropriate baccalaureate degree who want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
